Our 3rd annual Back 2 School event was held August 5th in Garland. We were once again able to serve our community and bless many families by providing their children with much needed supplies for the upcoming school year. About 25-30 families received boxes containing food, as well as 70 students received new backpacks with various school supplies.
In response to the added need, we held an additional day for our Back 2 School event on August 18th. Students were able to receive notebooks, and those that received backpacks previously were able to round out their school list with additional supplies.
A huge “thank you” goes out to all of our donors and volunteers! We are extremely grateful to be able to help setup these kids for a successful start to their school year.
